In 2011, Galliano sat on the sidelines of fashion after being dismissed from Dior following his arrest over an alleged anti-Semitic attack in a Paris bar. The same day, more videos appeared, portraying similar inebriated rants. He faced a maximum six months in jail, but received a lower sentence after telling the court he was sorry for his actions and blamed it on drug and alcohol abuse.
