Kebede has been more than busy since her big break in 2000 when Tom Ford signed her to an exclusive contract for is Fall runway show. She has graced the covers of the Italian, French, American, Spanish, and Japanese editions of Vogue and regularly appears in Forbes list of highest earning supermodels. More recently she dabbled in a bit of acting, with lead roles in the films Desert Flower and Black Gold.
