5. New York's fashion schools enrollment costs increased by 34% in the past decade. The survey conducted by the Center for the Urban Future found a 34% increase in enrollment fees over the past decade and the number of graduates with a design or architect degree increased by 40%. The investment seems to pay off, however, as 81% of the New York based design professionals have hired a NYC design graduate in the past five years. [Fashionista]
