5. Banana Republic has teamed up with Virgin America to combine fashion and flying. The uniforms were made through a 18-month project between the two companies and their goal was to make the outfits both functional and fashionable. Functionality was a challenge, but the designers added wrinkle-free fabrics and a little bit of spandex for mobility. [HuffingtonPost]
