George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Glenn Close, and Jonah Hill were among the stars lighting this year’s Oscar Nominee Luncheon at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The Academy Award hopefuls sipped mini imperial bottles of Moët & Chandon while mingling with guests in the private room, where Mr. Clooney discussed weekend plans with Mr. Pitt and offered tips to emerging Hollywood directors.
Of note, Octavia Spencer misplaced her invitation and almost missed the party, as she was stopped by security on the way in. (Don't forget your Oscar invite, Octavia!) But all was cleared up, and thereafter the event went off without a hitch.
