From New York, to London, to Milan, to Paris, we followed fashion wherever its well-manicured paws pointed, stilettos clicked, and sheer tops billowed all February. We know the greats, the trendsetters, and the creme de la creme of designers. But in the quiet aftermath, after all the glitter had settled, another event caught our perfected smokey eye, and it was called Main Line Fashion Week.
What do we love about this event? Patricia Maristch, the founder of MLFW, created an event that celebrates the style of Philadelphia’s western suburbs, while also creating a platform for local designers and boutiques to showcase their chic and trendy offerings. Even more importantly, MLFW proves that any girl, whether she lives in the fashion capital of the world or not, can own a runway worthy wardrobe.
The Venue: The Grace Winery at Sweetwater Farms was the perfect rustic backdrop for viewing some of spring's hottest trends. Grace Winery hosted both runway shows Tuesday and Wednesday night, as well as Friday's Marketplace event where you could shop the looks you saw on the runway!

The Runway Show: Wednesday night's runway show was hosted by Philly Blog Love founder Jessie Holeva. As she announced, we sipped wine, munched delicately on h'or doevres from 12 St. Catering, and soaked in some spring trends from Out There Outfitters, Sache Boutique, Element 6, Tish, Gramercy, and Van Cleve. Here are some of our favorite looks!

Model (Left): Wearing outfit from Element 6 Boutique. What we thought: Love the contrast of colors here, and adding a nude shoe is an easy way to create that long lean look we love! Model (Middle): Wearing outfit from Element 6 Boutique. What we thought: Perfect for channeling our inner angst. To turn this look instantly hipster we would add a fedora, or floppy sun hat! Model (Right): Also wearing an outfit from Element 6. What we thought: Don't you love the surprising and seductive red shoe? We would have added a red lip for good measure. A must have is the over-sized statement necklace, which we felt really brought this look together.

Model (Left): Model wearing look from Sache Boutique. What we thought: Everyone was in awe of this dress. Different, slouchy, and yet the fit is great. Another great way to bring the monochromatic trend into Spring. Model (Middle): Model wearing outfit from Tish Boutique. What we thought: Easily one of our favorite looks of the night. This outfit is transformative. If you're looking for a great outfit to go from day to drinks, then this is it. Model (Right): Model wearing outfit from Tish Boutique. What we thought: There are so many places you could go in this easy, breezy outfit.
