Rosa Parks on Saying No

An an inspiration to always stand for your rights, the “Mother” of the American Civil Rights Movement, Rosa Parks, ignited a flame in the fight against segregation on December 1st, 1955. Ms. Parks refused to give up her seat on the bus to a white man, resulting in her arrest. 


"People say that I didn't give up my seat because I was tired... I was tired of giving in."
