The place to be for film buffs and party people alike, Cannes has just kicked off its 69th annual Cannes Film Festival attracting international A-list actors including Blake Lively and Kristen Stewart (who opened the festival) and the likes of Jessica Chastain, Victoria Beckham, Eva Longoria, and Donald Sutherland. Traditionally, the film festival is an important showcase for European talent in film, but it has grown in recent years, becoming a platform for films to build critical acclaim and support. As such, actors make it a priority to drop into the festival. While the days are a heavily packed schedule of film screenings, the social scene at night really takes the “work hard, play hard” mantra to a whole other level. Popup clubs such as Le Baron, Le Club Costes by Albane, and VIP Room have hosted some pretty legendary nights. This year, Blue Marlin Ibiza will be popping up in Cannes May 11 to 22 for what will no doubt be an amazing stint - especially if their loyal following in Ibiza is anything to go by.
