Fix chapped/sunburned lips
Have a date tonight but you fried your lips at the beach? Don't use Vaseline! Vaseline protects your lips but doesn't do anything to moisturize them. Instead, apply a lip balm first, then apply Vaseline to seal in the moisture. This is much more effective and will help your lips look and feel soft and supple by nighttime.
